Chapter 3…

Hello March!!!!

This month started off with a bang. My computer has died and is currently getting repaired. Good thing it’s still under the warranty so it’s getting fixed. I have a new job. Just finished the first week on Saturday. It’s different from the last one. So far so good no complaints.

Slacking a little on the book department but I’m trying to do better on that. I’ve seen the movie Get out twice. It’s amazing. If you haven’t seen it you should. You will not be disappointed at all.

That’s pretty much it chapter 3 pages 1-13. More to come. So far this year has been great. Can’t complain.

Day 2…

Today was a chill day. Nothing to crazy to talk about. Thinking about getting a vision board started. Thinking of some new diy projects that I could try.

Pinterest will most likely become my best friend this year. Going to step out of my comfort zone and try to get more creative and see what I can do. So this should be fun. The first project will be a vision board. Never made one before so I guess this year is a good one to start.

Day 2 of 365

Hello 2017….

Yay!!!! We made it. Hello 2017. Still here. Still learning. Still growing. Forever grateful for all that I’ve learned so far. I’m grateful for the opportunity that I’ve been giving to still grow.

I’m focusing on my growth, passions, & dreams. Learning to let go of the things I can’t control and embrace the things that I can. This is going to be an amazing journey the good, the bad, & the ugly. I can’t wait.

Day 1 of 365. Lets make this a great story!!!!

Let the Christmas music begin…

216450-hello-december

Its finally December. The last month of the year. 30 days until a new year begins. I feel the older I get the quicker the years go by. Its been an amazing ride so far. Even with the shake up at the end of the year I can only be thankful for what I have.

I’m happy that I can listen to my Jackson 5 Christmas album without people thinking I’m crazy. Its time to get cozy and drink hot chocolate. Even though I live in south Florida and we only a get nice breeze on a good day I’m still excited for the season. Even if that means shorts, sandals, and the beach on Christmas.

I’m going to enjoy these last few days of 2016 and stay thankful for all that I have. This is my second favorite season (the first being Summer since I was born in August!!!) of the year. Its a great time to get together with friends and family and have an ugly sweater gift exchange party. Looking at all of the decorated houses. Doing online shopping to avoid mall craziness.

Before you know it we will be entering into a new year and all of those new year new me post that pop up at the beginning of the year. New Year resolutions will also be going out. Everyone getting excited about what the new year will bring. I’m excited to see what the changes going on in my life would be like.

Day 1…30 more to go

And the Winner is…

Not who I thought was going to win. Its really interesting to see that outcome of this election. I’ve seen people in shock, angry, & confused on the decision that was mad this morning. 11/9/2016 will be a day that I don’t think a lot of people will ever forget.

I hope everyone is enjoying their hump day. I hope these next four years this country can come together and live in peace. I really hope that the people that came out and agreed with some of the hateful comments that were stated during this election realize that those comments aren’t going to help this country. Its just going to divide us even further.

This election is showing that there is still a lot of change that needs to be made. With all the things that people have said and shown its just getting scarier. 2016 is a year I will never forget. I just hope these four years go by fast and we don’t have a repeat in 2020. I guess its time to keep hope alive and pray for the best.

Hello November…

44997-hello-november

Yeah I know its the third but a lot has happened so far. Monday night lost a family member. Our beloved family pet Jeri. He had a heart condition and took his last breath at home. The next day started looking into DIY projects that I’ve researched online. One didn’t turn out so great but I have time to correct them. So trying to get these creative juices flowing.

Also got voting out of the way. Next week is going to be very interesting to see who will become the next president of the United States of America. Everyone needs to get out and vote. Even if you don’t like options go with the one that you believe has your best interest. That’s all I’m going to mention about this election. The world is scary enough I just hope the right person gets elected for the job.

On a lighter note congratulations to the Chicago Cubs on winning The World Series last night. Not into sports but they played their hearts out last night. Beyoncé performed at the CMA’s with the Dixie Chicks. A lot of people didn’t want her there but she killed her performance and looked amazing as always. That’s all for now until next time.

Hello 30’s: A New Journey Awaits

So everyone says 30 is the new 20. So I guess for me that means a do over.

I turned 30 in August not really sure of my place in the world. Still wondering what was my purpose. Trying to compare my life to other people.

Fast forward to October. Still wondering about my purpose, narrow down my passion, and unemployed. Life is funny sometimes.

I have a lot of different dreams that I would love to accomplish and I never took the step because I was comfortable. Afraid to try anything new. Never able to step out of my comfort zone. Never having enough faith that I would succeed.

Well as a turn of events I am no longer employed. No longer have my comfort zone to protect me. It’s now time to step it up and finally follow up on these dreams of mine. Even if none pan out. I can say that I tried and didn’t give up.

So dirty 30 is a brand new beginning. A fresh start on life. It’s time to put on my big girl panties and get to work. It’s time to make some changes. I need to learn how to live in the moment and keep the faith and move forward.
