Next Chapter: February

Chapter 2

January was filled with craziness that is slowly spilling into February. It’s the first day, the country in celebrating Black History Month, Beyoncé carrying twins, the super bowl, & Valentine’s Day plans.

This month is already filled with greatness. We get to honor and respect the legacy that African Americans have l left behind. We get to understand all that we have blessed with by their strength to endure all that they went through so that we can now have a better life. We still have a long way to go. I’m happy that I can learn more that what they teach in schools to really understand what was left behind.

Let’s get this next chapter started.

Hello November…

Yeah I know its the third but a lot has happened so far. Monday night lost a family member. Our beloved family pet Jeri. He had a heart condition and took his last breath at home. The next day started looking into DIY projects that I’ve researched online. One didn’t turn out so great but I have time to correct them. So trying to get these creative juices flowing.

Also got voting out of the way. Next week is going to be very interesting to see who will become the next president of the United States of America. Everyone needs to get out and vote. Even if you don’t like options go with the one that you believe has your best interest. That’s all I’m going to mention about this election. The world is scary enough I just hope the right person gets elected for the job.

On a lighter note congratulations to the Chicago Cubs on winning The World Series last night. Not into sports but they played their hearts out last night. Beyoncé performed at the CMA’s with the Dixie Chicks. A lot of people didn’t want her there but she killed her performance and looked amazing as always. That’s all for now until next time.
