Happy Thanksgiving…

I hope everyone is enjoying this time with family and friends. Just reflecting on what this year has brought so far. Being thankful for all that you have. Seeing how far you have come within this year. This is the time to reflect. With all that’s going on in this world right now, we need to reflect on all the goods things that we have in our lives.

The main thing that I am thankful for is my family and friends. I’m grateful for all that this year has taught me so far. Things can change before you even know it, just have to learn from them and become a better person. Getting older is a privilege not given to everyone. That’s what just a few things that I’ve learned so far in 2016. I still have some time to learn even more in the next 37 days. I’m going to make everyday count.

And the Winner is…

Not who I thought was going to win. Its really interesting to see that outcome of this election. I’ve seen people in shock, angry, & confused on the decision that was mad this morning. 11/9/2016 will be a day that I don’t think a lot of people will ever forget.

I hope everyone is enjoying their hump day. I hope these next four years this country can come together and live in peace. I really hope that the people that came out and agreed with some of the hateful comments that were stated during this election realize that those comments aren’t going to help this country. Its just going to divide us even further.

This election is showing that there is still a lot of change that needs to be made. With all the things that people have said and shown its just getting scarier. 2016 is a year I will never forget. I just hope these four years go by fast and we don’t have a repeat in 2020. I guess its time to keep hope alive and pray for the best.

Election Day….

Election day is finally here I’m glad. I’m can honestly say that I’m happy this day is finally here. Now we can focus on other things like the rest of 2016. Whatever the outcome will be will be very interesting to see. The polls are closed in my state so the party is about to start.

Tonight could end up with many people crying for joy or sorrow. I hope everyone took the opportunity to let their voices be heard. Even if your choice was not on the ballot I hope everyone let their voices be heard. The next four years will be very interesting time to live in.

So after tonight will we all focus on what’s next to come. Thanksgiving dinner, Black Friday Sales, Christmas trees, lights, The Jackson 5 Christmas Album (I’ve already started listening to Christmas songs…no judgements). The world being as normal as possible.

Until Tomorrow…May the odds be ever in your favor. #election2016

Hello November…

Yeah I know its the third but a lot has happened so far. Monday night lost a family member. Our beloved family pet Jeri. He had a heart condition and took his last breath at home. The next day started looking into DIY projects that I’ve researched online. One didn’t turn out so great but I have time to correct them. So trying to get these creative juices flowing.

Also got voting out of the way. Next week is going to be very interesting to see who will become the next president of the United States of America. Everyone needs to get out and vote. Even if you don’t like options go with the one that you believe has your best interest. That’s all I’m going to mention about this election. The world is scary enough I just hope the right person gets elected for the job.

On a lighter note congratulations to the Chicago Cubs on winning The World Series last night. Not into sports but they played their hearts out last night. Beyoncé performed at the CMA’s with the Dixie Chicks. A lot of people didn’t want her there but she killed her performance and looked amazing as always. That’s all for now until next time.

Happy Monday….

I cant believe this is that last day of October 2016. This years is pretty much done. I cant really say I did anything out of the ordinary except for turning 30, going to the Bad Boys Reunion Concert which was AMAZING!!!! and losing my job. Other than that my year has been kind of boring so far.

With all of this free time that I now have I can use that time to learn me. Find out what makes me happy. Go on this healthier lifestyle (more like Ramon noodle lifestyle). Start one of my many goals. Go back to school and get my degree. Taking more risk. Who knows there are a lot of things that I can do. The only thing stopping me is me.

So a lot of things are going on in the month on November. There is the founders day on the 15th, then everyone loves thanksgiving and black Friday, last but not least my parents 31st wedding anniversary. December will be here before you know it.

So long 2016 hello 2017.

Also today is a very important day its my mothers 60th birthday!!!!
Happy Birthday Mom.

Hello 30’s: A New Journey Awaits

So everyone says 30 is the new 20. So I guess for me that means a do over.

I turned 30 in August not really sure of my place in the world. Still wondering what was my purpose. Trying to compare my life to other people.

Fast forward to October. Still wondering about my purpose, narrow down my passion, and unemployed. Life is funny sometimes.

I have a lot of different dreams that I would love to accomplish and I never took the step because I was comfortable. Afraid to try anything new. Never able to step out of my comfort zone. Never having enough faith that I would succeed.

Well as a turn of events I am no longer employed. No longer have my comfort zone to protect me. It’s now time to step it up and finally follow up on these dreams of mine. Even if none pan out. I can say that I tried and didn’t give up.

So dirty 30 is a brand new beginning. A fresh start on life. It’s time to put on my big girl panties and get to work. It’s time to make some changes. I need to learn how to live in the moment and keep the faith and move forward.

Where have I been ….EVERYWHERE !!!!!

Not really just been busy. So I decided to just do a little update about me and the things around me. So October had a blast was so busy that month I don’t know how I survived. I attended Bethune Cookman University’s Homecoming it was amazing. I can’t wait until next year. That basically was a highlight if that month besides my parents birthdays. My dad’s birthday is Oct. 22 and my moms is Oct. 31. So celebrating is a must. November stressful with work. I’m trying to stay on the bright side of things but I’m not sure how much longer I can last. At least I’m off this Thursday and Friday so hello turkey and Black Friday shopping and great food. To end on a positive note I have found a new passion that I don’t want to jinx. So once everything comes into place this will be the first place I will tell the world.
